Maranatha Christian Center is a Holy Spirit filled Independant Baptist Church located in Orange, Tx. Incorporated in 1995, the church outgrew its original location on Nightingale St and moved to its current location at 7879 North Highway 87 in 2004.

Our Pastor, Rev Bob Simmons, has been teaching and preaching God's Word to people for over 62 years. His extensive research on Revelations and end times prophecy has made him one of the foremost authorities on the subject. At 82 years young, he is the oldest active pastor in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.

We welcome all who have questions concerning God's Word to our Wednesday Night Bible Study at 7:00pm. Usually smaller than the Sunday service, Rev Simmons answers all questions pertaining to the Word and how to apply it in your life. This is where we get to the "meat" of the Word and its practical application.

At our Sunday services, Rev Simmons and Associate Pastor Daniel Ray bring uplifting messages of inspiration and healing to God's people. Services are held at 10:30am and 6:00pm. The first Sunday of the month we also have communion during our morning service. 

Though small now, our church has been growing steadily. A nursery is available during all services . In the future, we will be starting a youth ministry for teens, as well as pre-teens.
